The Challenge
Wisconsin’s hunting regulations are complex, varying by zone, season, species, and weapon type. Hunters needed a mobile-first solution to quickly access this information in the field, often without reliable cell service.
Our Approach
We built Hunt Wisconsin as a feature-rich React Native app with offline-first architecture. Key features include interactive public land maps powered by Google Maps SDK, season date reminders via push notifications, species-specific regulation lookups, and a digital harvest reporting tool. The app went through a major visual redesign (reflected in the old vs. new logo) to modernize its brand identity.
Results
Hunt Wisconsin became a trusted resource in the Wisconsin outdoor community, serving thousands of hunters each season. The offline capabilities and clean interface made it particularly valuable during hunting trips in remote areas.
